SHARJAHProperty transactions at the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition “ACRES 2026” exceeded Dh5 billion, marking a 17 percent increase compared to last year, according to organisers.

The exhibition concluded at Expo Centre Sharjah after attracting strong interest from investors and real estate professionals across the UAE. More than 18,000 visitors attended the event, reinforcing its standing as a major platform for the regional property market.

Organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department and Leader Events Management, the exhibition benefited from a decision by the Sharjah Executive Council to reduce real estate registration fees for transactions completed exclusively during the exhibition period. The measure played a significant role in driving higher transaction volumes and visitor turnout during the event.

ACRES 2026

ACRES 2026 brought together more than 120 exhibitors, including leading real estate developers and investment companies from across all emirates. Participants presented over 200 projects covering a wide spectrum of the market, from luxury apartments and modern villas to commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments, as well as investment land plots.

Several high-quality projects were announced and launched for the first time during the exhibition, both within the UAE and internationally. Developers also offered exclusive discounts and flexible payment plans aimed at different categories of investors, adding to the exhibition’s appeal and commercial activity.

Market momentum

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the results of ACRES 2026 reflect the strength and resilience of the emirate’s real estate market. He noted that the sector continues to demonstrate its ability to adapt to economic changes within an investment environment that balances growth with quality of life.

Al Owais added that the exhibition has evolved into a comprehensive economic platform, extending beyond traditional property promotion by supporting informed investment decisions. By bringing developers, financiers and investors together under an institutional framework, the event contributes to improving overall market efficiency.

Sales growth

Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director-General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, said the exhibition recorded 2,747 sales transactions, underlining sustained demand and investor confidence in the emirate’s property sector. He highlighted the growing importance of real estate as a key contributor to Sharjah’s economic development.

Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Real Estate Sector Business Group at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the exhibition’s organising committee, said the outcomes of ACRES 2026 demonstrate qualitative growth achieved year after year. He pointed to stronger direct engagement between exhibitors and investors, helping align market offerings with demand and drawing attention to projects focused on sustainability and long-term economic viability.
